Thank you for visiting our new web site. The Tri-Cities Triathlon Club (formerly know as the Coquitlam Triathlon Club) has been in existence since the early 80’s with membership fluctuating through the years from a few members in the very early days to over 80 in the last few years.

We are based in Coquitlam, B.C. but our membership is made up of athletes from all over the Tri-Cities area as well as Burnaby, New Westminster, Vancouver, Surrey and further out in the Valley. Through our affiliation with Tri BC members receive further benefits and access to more Tri information.

The Tri-Cities Triathlon Club is open to all levels of athletes. We have a large contingent of experienced Ironmen and women as well as many people newer to triathlon. We are a volunteer-run club that focuses on training hard and safe with an active social side to a lot of our training.

We ride all year round on Saturday mornings and expand the schedule as the weather warms up.  All age groups are represented in our Club with the median age being 35 to 40.

Our training is year round with attendance being highest from March to September.  The social aspects of our Club continue year round with meetings, BBQ's and guest speakers.

Our Gold sponsor, The Healing Point Acupuncture Clinic, provides excellent care for those issues that seem to never go away.  Contact Ian Dunsmuir for an assessment of your injury.

Our Gold sponsor, Tri 3 Sports, provides all the gear and bicycles you need to be successful in any of the three triathlon disciplines.  They also offer clinics and training programs for new triathletes as well as gender specific bicycle maintenance courses.

Our Silver sponsor, Excel Physiotherapy and its triathlete owner Mark Hampton,  provide excellent advice on rehabilitation.

Our Silver sponsor, Grant Kim, Chiropractor, provides chiropractic and active release therapy care.

I encourage you to contact us if you have any questions regarding joining the club or about triathlon in general.
